I've been struggling the whole week to find a good setup. My best laps were in the 2.01.5XX, about 3s above the best time you did. While I could probably improve little bit by practicing, I was sure there was something wrong with my setup as 3s was a pretty big gap ...
Thanks to your setup I just did 2.00.2XX just now in Paul Ricard after the test race after just 3 laps of testing with new setup. And once I get used to it and finish to tweak it, I'm sure I can go below 2.00.
Your setup didn't actually suit me during test race (I was actually not faster than with my setup), so I modified the setup i was using by mixing it with yours, and it worked wonderfully.
The key was the low wing, low tires pressure and toe in. I already was using a low wing, but was kinda scare to go below 150-155k for tire pressure. But then I saw you put 140k in the rear in your setup. I did the same and also lowered the front pressure.
As result the front of the car was very unstable even when just accelerating in straight line. I saw u decreased -.4 degrees toe in at the front and did the same for my setup and it did the trick. No more instability.
I'm just a bit worry about tire wear ... How many lap can you do with your setup before changing tire ? Can you run the full 10 laps of fuel without losing too much time in the last laps ?
