I'm also seriously thinking of buying a year's subscritpion with iracing. I doubt I'm good enough to move up the ranks appreciably but just the thought of even just driving alone in the most vaunted racesim currently for the PC is probably worth the price of admission.

yeah L, perhaps you should go for Netkar Pro which is more realistic than iracing in most of the fields they have simulated.

But the content and presentation is poor la.

Talking about epic, RBR is epic. Still driving it from time to time.

I have nKarPro. I didn't know it was more realistic than iRacing. The trouble with nKarPro though is it's a one-man developer show and the future of that sim remains somewhat in doubt. Having said that, I know of plenty of real race drivers who swear by iRacing.

RBR.....I got all the stuff needed to install this great sim. Unfortunately everytime I try updating to RBR2009, it pops up with message that there is a corrupted file with the source code and always with one of the Mitsubishi Evo's. I have 4 different RBR original discs and all of them say the same error message. Don't know if its the original discs or that 900 MB RBR2009 mod. Any ideas ? I'm just dying to play this sim.

me too, never figured out what went wrong. I think Madnoren might have succeded with the 2009

Evo, in my opinion, FS9 is much more better then FSX. You can get a lot of add-on in FS9 then in FSX especially Malaysia scenery.
